ДИГИТАЛИЗАЦИЈА ЗАВИЧАЈНИХ ФОНДОВА
У НАРОДНИМ БИБЛИОТЕКАМА

Сажетак: Завичајни фондови су у народним библиотекама репрезент културног
и научног наслеђа једног региона. Статистички показатељи сачувани у бази
Народне библиотеке Србије (Мрежа библиотека Србије) показују недовољност
друштвене бриге, непостојање плана у овој области, али истовремено
и огроман културолошки потенцијал, чија би целовитост, планско усмеравање
ка дигитализацији, као облику заштите и промоције књижне, рукописне
и некњижне грађе, омогућили формирање виртуелних завичајних библиотека.
У том процесу ваљало би се, пре свега, упознати са интернационалним
смерницама за дигитализацију, дефинисати и усвојити националне смернице,
регулативу о завичајним фондовима унети у закон о библиотекама, о коме је
расправа у току, и евентуално, успоставити конзорцијум преко кога би се
функција завичајности народних библиотека успешније спроводила.

DIGITALIZATION OF LOCAL HISTORY HOLDINGS
IN PUBLIC LIBRARIES

Summary: The local history holdings of public libraries are a represent of cultural and
scientific heritage of a district. The statistic data stored in the database of The
National Library of Serbia (The network of libraries of Serbia) show an insufficiency
of social care, lack of plan in this field, but at the same time an enormous
cultural potential whose completeness, planned directing towards digitalization
as a form of protection and promotion of book, hand written and non-literary
holdings, would enable forming of virtual local history libraries. In the first place
it would be good to become familiar with international directives for digitalization
as well as to define and approve national directives, to incorporate the rules
on local history holdings into the Law on libraries the reading of which is underway
and possibly organize a consortium through which the function of local
history action of public libraries would be implemented with more success.
